Abbotsford Tattoo Shop

At The Frontier Tattoo Collective, we are artists, first and foremost. We are dedicated to bringing your vision to life in a legible and beautiful piece of art that you will cherish for the rest of your life. We strive to provide our clients with a fun, laid back atmosphere where you can feel safe sharing your ideas and you can trust that we will work hard to perfect your vision. Only when you are completely satisfied with the piece of art we create together will we get started on your tattoo.

Each artist at The Frontier is independent and manages their own schedule/bookings. If you are not sure which artist would be best suited for what you are looking for, please be sure to fill out our general studio form.

Lance

Meet Lance!

The man behind The Frontier Tattoo Collective, Lance has been tattooing for over 6 years!

Growing up in Mission, BC, his love for art began as a child, drawing at the kitchen table. Through his young adult life he took on a variety of odd jobs, studied animation at The Vancouver Film School and eventually landed on tattooing, and hasn’t looked back since. He is a jack of all trades, with skills ranging from black and grey realism to American traditional. He would love to take on more projects with themes based off of old literary stories, movies, or biblical imagery. Outside of tattooing, Lance loves to spend time woodworking and fishing. He takes a keen interest in Sasquatch, so come prepared with your best wilderness stories to share! He loves spending time with his wife, Sam and their pup, Oats. His goal with tattooing is to provide clients with visually striking and inspired pieces of art for you to enjoy for decades to come.

Amy

Born and raised in Abbotsford, BC, Amy grew up loving art. From a young age she studied painting, and began to specialize in realistic drawing as a teenager.

Amy has been tattooing for almost 4 years. Her favourite subject matters to tattoo are biblical imagery, flowers, and faces. She is inspired by the old art masters, and hopes to translate old school disciplines of art into modern day tattooing. She especially loves when clients have unique ideas, based on stories, music, history and more. Outside of tattooing, Amy’s life revolves around reading, drawing, and writing. She loves hanging out with family, going to concerts, and spending time in nature.

Aftercare for Your New Tattoo

Listen to Your Artist!

At the time of your appointment, we will provide you with in-depth aftercare instructions for your new tattoo. In most cases, we typically use a second skin bandage of healing but, if you have sensitive skin or allergies, we can discuss an alternative method.

You will need unscented soap and unscented lotion for aftercare.

We suggest Dove Unscented, Aquaphor, or Lubriderm (the brand doesn’t really matter as long as it is fragrance free).

It is best to use lotion in a sealed bottle with a pump as opposed to a lidded container to avoid contamination.

Studio Policies & Procedures

Getting your new tattoo should be a fun and exciting experience. That’s why we follow set policies and procedures to keep you safe and to ensure that you receive the best experience possible.
